from different options to customize
your service agreement to cover all
your Vaisala instruments.
Easy and ecient
calibration
Calibration is an essential part
of measurement instrument
maintenance. We offer Service
agreements designed to fulll your
calibration and maintenance needs.
Your instruments can be enrolled in
the Calibration Reminder Program,
which provides advance notication
when regular calibration is due. For
most Vaisala instruments, it also
includes a calibration certicate with
the 'before' and 'after' adjustment data.
You can choose a standard (factory)
calibration or accredited calibration
for a certain period of time. The
standard (factory) calibration is
traceable and ISO 9001 compliant.

Humidity and
Temperature Transmitter Series
HMT330 includes seven humidity
and one temperature point at room
temperature. Vaisala also offers
accredited calibrations for many of its
products.
Vaisala Service Centers are accredited
and their working procedures
are approved by third party
organizations. This is conrmed
by the name and logo of the local
accrediting body appearing on
the report documentation. The
documentation includes uncertainty
calculations. Accredited calibrations
are recommended especially for
the measurement instruments that
are used as transfer standards
or in demanding measurement
applications.
All accredited calibrations comply
with ISO 17025 and are traceable to
international standards.

Vaisala lifetime accuracy
Vaisala’s state-of-the-art Service Center
and Calibration Standards Laboratory
(CSL) provides service, calibration
and adjustment for Vaisala’s relative
humidity, dewpoint, material moisture,
barometric pressure and carbon diox-
ide instruments.
ISO and A2LA Accreditation
e CSL received from the American
Association for Laboratory Accredita-
tion (A2LA) certication to ISO/IEC
17025:2005. e CSL is also certied to
ISO 9001:2000 and meets the require-
ments of ANSI/NCSL Z540-1-1994. As a
result the CSL is able to oer accredit-
ed calibrations for humidity, dewpoint
and temperature instruments.
Standard calibration
Calibration is an integral part of in-
strument maintenance. Vaisala Service
performs multi-point and accredited
calibrations and adjustments to ensure
measurement accuracy.
One-point, on-site eld calibrations
are useful in identifying the need for
additional calibration and adjustment.
Multi-point calibrations oer the
advantage of high accuracy over the
entire measurement range.

To verify results, a certicate is issued
for each calibrated instrument. e
certicate shows the readings both
before and after adjustment. is sys-
tem enables the user to easily moni-
tor the performance of the calibrated
instrument.
Accredited calibration
Accredited calibrations ensure the
highest measurement accuracy and
are directly traceable to international
standards. e measurement uncer-
tainty in accredited calibrations is
presented for all measurement points.
Accredited calibration is recommend-
ed for instruments that are used as a
transfer standard, other demanding
measurement applications, and/or to
meet standards.

Quality systems require calibration
tracking. Participants in the Vaisala
Calibration Reminder Program auto-
matically receive a ‘time to re-calibrate’
notice. If the instrument is sent to
Vaisala for recalibration within the ini-
tial warranty period, the warranty will
be extended for one year – FREE.
