The DRYCAP® sensor used
in DMP248 measures
water vapour pressure and
temperature to determine
the dewpoint temperature.
The measurement ranges and the
output signals may be selected and
scaled to desired ranges within the
full measurement range.
The transmitter software allows the
user to perform a two point
calibration. The calibration is made
against relative humidity
references, e.g. salt baths, which
can be done by the user. The
transmitter can also be sent to
Vaisala or a Vaisala representative
for a traceable calibration. The
calibration interval depends on the
application where the transmitter is
used. In normal conditions
calibration once a year is
recommended.
CONFIGURED TO YOUR
SPECIFICATIONS
The DMP248 transmitters are
extremely flexible products which
can be configured in many ways –
both in hardware and software.
Manufactured on a production line
where they are configured to the
customer specifications, the
transmitters are shipped
programmed and ready for
installation. If the application
parameters have to be changed,
the transmitter may be easily
adjusted, even in the field by the
end-user.
SETTINGS AND ADJUSTMENTS
MADE EASY
The DMP248 transmitters have
several output variables to choose
from. Settings are easy to change.
Selecting, scaling and calibrating the
analog output signals and
parameters can be done in a few
minutes using simple software
commands.
